On February 17, 2007, more than twenty volunteers made the journey to Stewart’s Point, which is a picturesque area of Lake Mead National Recreation Area located in the Overton Arm. Careless visitors had left litter along this beautiful stretch of shoreline. The volunteers made quick work of the litter along the shore and hauled out about 10 cubic yards of litter. Don’t Trash Nevada thanks each volunteer for making the drive to Stewart’s Point to remove litter. |
