Native Habitat Planting at Craig Ranch Regional Park

November 16, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Date: Saturday, November 16, 2019
Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Event Duration: 3 hours
Location: 628 W Craig Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89032

We invite you to join us for a planting at Craig Ranch Regional Park.

Help us create a native pollinator habitat on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

This is a great opportunity to not only help threatened and endangered pollinator species like bees and butterflies, but also to learn about native plants of our Mojave Desert and how-to transplant and protect them. We will be pulling weeds and removing plant cages from our phase 1 project area, transplanting 1-gallon native plants, watering and caging plants in our phase 2 area.

We will provide all supplies and drinking water! Just bring yourself, your friends, sunscreen, a hat, and wear closed-toe shoes.

NOTE TO MINORS: If you are under 18 years old and are coming without an adult, you will need a waiver signed by your parent or guardian.

An email with the waiver, meeting spot and parking information will be sent out to all participants three days before the volunteer opportunity.

Suggested Clothing: Closed-toe shoes, Wide-brim hat

What to Bring: Water bottle, Sunscreen

Once you are registered, you will receive an email with more information at least a week prior to the event date. Registration closes on November 9th.
